I have another similar dust brush that I use downstairs and out of laziness decided to take this one for the upper floors. This one looks the same, but turns out the other one has an extra row of bristles and the bristles are a lot softer than those. Don't get me wrong, this brush still has soft bristles. So I'd say the former is best for delicate knick-knacks and the like, and this one best for general dust - great for my keyboards, for example, as it gets into crevices and is tough enough to pick dust off my covered headboard with cloth. Sure, the rag doesn't snag on the brush like a swiffer or some microfiber rags, but I have air filters and I don't get much dust so it doesn't bother me and this type of rag creates less waste than disposables. Easier to clean than microfiber - just dust or rinse in clean water.
