I'm a dance teacher and I need a pair of dance shoes for practice so my feet don't hurt from spending hours practicing in jazz or ballet shoes. Half size was recommended but I didn't think it was necessary. I wear size 9 sneakers and bought a 9.5. I could easily buy 9 and they would fit perfectly. I have a wide foot and it fits me perfectly. Vault support is excellent. They allow a nice guidance of the foot. They are ideal for pirouettes and spins as they offer less grip than regular tennis shoes. I wore them to the finale of our solo concert and they were so comfortable and worked great on stage. They are made of canvas and therefore warm up when worn for a long time. Most dance shoes are gross but I chose these because they aren't too bulky or flashy and they look amazing! Overall a great dance shoe! My colleague ended up ordering the same pair after trying mine!
