Bright white light is annoying

Except for the constantly flashing bright white light, I would give this item 5 stars. It's really annoying! Unfortunately, there is no way to turn it off. I cut a small square of transparent tape and color it with black marker. (see photo) The device can be turned over so that the light is directed to the side, but then the input labels of the device remain invisible. For users who are annoyed by white light, it is advisable to add input markings to the back.
