I am amazed to see a product that is so poorly constructed that it not only prevents you from opening your computer once properly installed but also your tools and your Screen physically damaged. Under no circumstances can this product replace the double-sided adhesive tape for which the computer was designed. The original adhesive has a less dense foam core that is easily cut with a pick or similar tool to remove the rotating screen, and then the adhesive separates in one motion, peeling off both sides. This product is too strong, rolls into a frothy, resinous mass and shatters the thin glass around the perimeter of the screen, a broken $400 part.
