Carefully slice/bite through 18 gauge steel like butter! Wow, pretty impressive for my first time using this amazing tool! It took me longer to measure and mark the cutout than to cut out an empty rectangle to access the outlet in the closet. , but for both the CaNibble and the Dewalt drill it was nothing. I first drilled a hole in the center and cut out a rectangle in seconds. I'm installing metal cabinets in my garage that sit flush with the wall. Instead of moving the outlets so that they weren't obscured by the hard-backed cabinet, I decided to make a cutout so the cabinet could be leaned against the wall and I could access the outlet from inside. There is already a cable access hole on the bottom of the case to run an extension cord or other cords through the bottom. I highly recommend this product. I immediately went for quality and reputation and didn't even consider the cheaper versions due to the cost of the entire CaNibble kit including spares, desktop mounting kit etc. If you value quality and trouble-free operation as much as I do, you won't regret choosing CaNibble. even if you only buy the wire cutters and not the whole set (pretty expensive but worth it). Please note that I did not receive the product for free! I researched and read the reviews and then bought Revain's CaNibble kit.
