Review on Drafting Standing Adjustable Flip Up High Back by Terra Strickland

Initial review date: 2021-10-24. I've had the chair for about two weeks now. I left these reviews because I got what I paid for. This is definitely a 4 star $180 chair. Spend more money if you want better quality and more functionality. And if you buy a higher quality chair for less and it suits you, let me know! It was easy enough to put together after reading the instructions, which I did after a bit of a disappointment. Step one, the instructions say not to over-tighten the screws, and there's a reason for that! Oops! Lesson learned (or forgotten next time). The chair itself is very simple. I bought it because I liked the idea that you can detach the handles to easily store it under the table. I also needed something larger than a standard chair because my desk, not the drafting table, is larger than a regular desk. It meets all my requirements and is high enough for those who want something more. There are only four types of adjustments that can be made on this chair. - Customize your hands. They are fixed except for the ability to get them out of the way. - Lift the chair up or down. Works well enough for me for now. - Adjust the toe ring up or down. light enough. Scope (?) can be larger. Although I can live with that. - Adjust seat tension. Doesn't really do much, so it's a disappointment (I got what I paid for) - The tension just seems to make it wiggle a bit. No tilt or height adjustment. The seat cushion is a bit thin, which will likely be an issue in the future. The fabric covering the seat cushion and armrests isn't bad, but it's not the best either. I look forward to adding a gel seat cushion at some point in the future. All in all I got what I paid for and am very happy with it. All lessons learned when I need to buy a chair to replace.
