Review on 🚴 GT, Aggressor, Avalanche, KHS, Timberline, Kestrel, Kettler, Mongoose Derailleur Hanger 94 by Pavel Craig

First I think I got the right part, once through Amazon I got a scissor riser window motor while mine was on a track system. So my rating is based solely on the fact that the parts looked very similar, so I assume I got what I ordered. Having a 2012 GT I assumed it would fit. However, I had to drill a 3/8" hole to get the support nut into this adapter and a 1/2" deep 1mm hole to get the nut head out of the way of the hub nut. The original broke - looks like the shapes are similar, but a well recessed 1/2" counter bar is starting to shave the outer end of the hanger. the original had about 0.6mm of material. I probably should have sent it back when I saw it didn't fit, but I spent about 30 minutes drilling and deburring with a sanded tape to install it. Note: It is also slightly offset which could be my fault if my 3/8" hole was slightly offset, both original GT holes were slightly wider than what I drilled in this strap causing it to move could (probably just enough for alignment I could make 7/16" to give the support nut a bit of flex - I was always taught to leave just enough room for the gap), the original is a bit wider - I have the hole not drilled step by step so it shouldn't be 1/64 due to my error (which still pushes the switch out of alignment) but I don't know for sure - although I didn't expect to have to do anything
