Review on 🌀 TPI F12-TE 12-Inch Diameter Single Phase Industrial Workstation Floor Fan - 120V by Daniel Bates

Looks like a used fan arrived. The Amazon's outer box looked clean, but the inner box looked like new taped and the box was quite worn. There are no instructions. The fan has a large dent on the front. This is a very powerful fan so it has to be hit very hard to bend the metal. The blades and shaft are out of balance and rattle like crazy when the fan is tilted at a certain angle. There are dirt splashes and scratches on the back. I hope it was just some weird confusion. So I will exchange it and update my review later. So far not a good experience for such an expensive part. --------------- UPDATE I have a new fan. Good: - Very strong cage - Long high quality 3 prong power cord. The bad: - slight ticking noise but seems to go away when it breaks - the screws connecting the base to the fan were loose, allowing the fan to spin and not stop. at the desired angle. I had to pull them up myself. The sticker on the front is applied off-center and is not smooth. Verdict: Most of the money seems to be spent on the heavy cage and power cord, but the quality control seems rather lax to me. If it was a $50 fan I would give it 5 stars. For $100 and the hassle of returning one and tightening the screws on the second, I give this one 3 stars.
