I've had this light for about six months and it has served its purpose. My plants have grown wonderfully. I have Pogo, Dwarf Camber, Shaft, Revane Swords, Christmas Moss, Javafarn, and Dwarf Baby Tears and they are all thriving. My only criticism is the timer. It's inconsistent. Some weeks it works great, turning on and off as programmed, and other weeks I come home and it's still working a few hours past the programmed off time. I usually have to turn it off and reprogram it when this happens. Another thing I don't like about the timer is that you can't adjust the intensity while it's on. By default, it reverts to ultra-high settings. I spent a few months reducing the light from 10 to 6 hours a day to conclude that the intensity of the light was causing me to have an algal bloom. I had to turn off the timer and now keep it on a lower level for 8+ hours and algae is no longer a problem.
