Review on πŸŽ’ Maxpedition TT26 Wolf Large Backpack: The Ultimate Casual Daypack for Adventure Seekers by Scott Hadlock

Almost perfect for luggage and travel essentials

I love my maxpedition backpacks. I have several and they are quite heavy. I bought this bag because I needed a light bag for travel but not a heavy bag for flight. I didn't want to sacrifice quality or durability either. This bag is near perfect and deserves to carry the Maxpedition label which is the best in my opinion. Good points first. It is made of different materials than what you usually see on Maxpedition bags. Less military, but just as tough. Nylon is more flexible and looks more like a canvas backpack, but is very durable and hard-wearing. The webbing is not the usual material they use, it's more like seat belt webbing and it's tough! I recently got caught on a sharp, exposed piece of metal. I work in an industrial environment and sharp metal edges are common. The strap got caught and my natural instinct was to pull because I didn't understand what I was getting caught on looking back I thought. Oh no! I think I just cut my belt! There was some light fraying on the straps but none of the fibers were cut or torn and I'm over 250lbs so I put some weight on it, it's a strong material. The bag is smaller than most of my other Maxpedition bags but efficient due to its layout. and I can fit as many as I can into my Kodiak gear loop in this tiny pocket. It also has a dedicated padded laptop sleeve which is another big reason I bought it. It also features the original duffel zip, allowing you to lift the front flap and open the bag as if it were a duffel. Now for the bag issues. When you have items in the front pocket, the main zipper is difficult to close because the front of the pocket keeps opening. In addition, the straps are very soft. I'm used to my other bags having straps that are strong and hold their shape so they're always easy to put on. This bag has flexible straps so once I grab it with my first hand I sometimes struggle to get my other hand in as the strap dangles as I reach for it behind me. Probably a minor criticism for most people, but as a fan of maxpedion I think I'm more critical because of the history of near perfect products I've bought from them.
