I mentioned in my review that the boxes had an odd smell. I assumed it would be deleted. It's been 5 months and he's gone and every time I go to the bathroom the smell envelops me. I cannot recommend these boxes for this reason. If the manufacturer could come and send me 9 new boxes (unscented) I would return the ones I have now. Place. I liked these boxes because they are big. Two things - they had a rather odd smell which I didn't notice at first as I had caught a cold. After a few days the smell got a little better. It's not complete. Second, the handle on one of the boxes fell off when I picked it up to put it on the shelf. Overall I like them, they look good and finally fit me.
