I have been looking for a while to replace an old pair of water shoes that I simply wore out. I have very wide feet. Keens were too narrow. My usual shoe size is a 7 EEEE (yep, 4E) from my favorite shoe maker (Propet - look to them for good wide fit shoes). I ordered a 7 in these but sent them back - too tight. I got an 8 and they fit - a bit snug around the center of the foot (the toe box was perfect) but acceptable for me to use in water sports. I wouldn't walk long distances in them.I took off a star because of two things - one, I don't care for the pattern inside the shoe on the sole - you can feel it in bare feet (another reason not to walk long distances wearing them) and you're going to use water shoes barefoot. Two, the laces loops are permanently attached to the tongue after the top lace. This makes adjusting the width impossible. (see photo) My old shoes didn't have them attached and were easy to tighten the laces down the whole shoe for a more precise fit. (too bad the manufacturer stopped making them)
