Worked to replace a broken actuator in a 2012 GMC Acadia

I needed this to replace a broken actuator in my 2012 GMC Acadia. Air conditioner stuck in defrost mode. I was able to switch between modes on the display, but the position of the vents didn't really change. I have never paid $500 for a professional repair when I could do it myself for $42. It took me an hour and the absolutely necessary little ratchet set that another poster mentioned and now we have the door operator in order. I won't lie, it was a tedious job. And I ended up with a bruised hand after squeezing it in the tight space next to the glove box, but it was worth the monetary savings. The new part works great. Note: If you're worried about not being able to do this repair yourself, know that I'm a 40-year-old female with a slight mechanical bent (no real know-how). I can easily do it on my own. Much luck!
