Didn't work well enough

My husband goes outside even when it's almost 100 degrees. When I found this, even though it cost quite a bit, I figured if it helps him be relatively comfortable, it's worth it. I also plan to use it regularly. Pros: 1. The fan explodes, which is better than just blowing on your face.2. It's pretty convenient. In fact, I hardly feel it when it's on. Cons: 1. Although the seller warns it won't work as an air conditioner, for the price it should be at least a little colder than a regular fan. In our house where the temp is over 70 the thing works great. However, once we step outside in the 95+ degree heat, it doesn't feel chilly at all. Just like a regular fan, we only feel warm air and that is the main reason I gave it two stars and am returning it. 2. Battery life isn't great. I would love to see this work because in the scorching Texas summer we need all the help we can get, especially outside. If it was about half the price we could just leave it as a fan. At nearly $50, however, we want more.
