Too extreme - for me
The large tooth gap on these scissors was too big for my normal medium quality straight hair. The thinning looked like a rodent got into my hair - - - but then again, my hair is pretty soft. Not sweet. I'm not a trained hairdresser either, but Corona do-it-yourself. Perhaps such scissors work better with strong and thick hair.
