It took about a month to see if all the problems were gone, but things got worse. All signs of a failing and/or dying graphics card. Even with Windows running, all the fans get mad like they're being taxed. I'm a video editor and bought this machine to replace a 5 year old HP machine that gave the signals this NEW machine gives at the end. Also, my external drives connected via USB3 ports keep getting disconnected at the worst possible moment. I used an external SSD as a cache for all Adobe applications. I REALLY DID NOT EXPECT THIS TO HAPPEN WITH SUCH A HIGH POWER MACHINE. I contacted tech support but the last person I spoke to (Chase) sounded like he was asleep and wasn't sure and/or didn't want to hear what I was saying. he didn't want to be disturbed. I sent an email with audio recordings of all the unexpected noises the car made and still haven't heard from anyone. I'm just finishing an ongoing video editing project to file a refund request. I was really hoping to give a new supplier a try after years of buying HP products. You may need to try a different provider.
