Review on 🐾 RIOGOO Pet Heating Pad: Auto Power Off Electric Heating Mat for Indoor Dogs and Cats by Heather Bell

My 20 year old cat with arthritis loves this heating pad! It looks softer in photos, but it's actually just a flat pillow with a thin fabric cover. I just put it on a chair cushion and then it's perfect. My cat now prefers to sleep on it than on her soft pillow. The controls are very simple and intuitive. It is nice that you can see immediately how much time the automatic timer has left thanks to the large green numbers on the display. When enabled, it turns off after 6 hours by default, but you can set any time between 1 and 12 hours. It defaults to 120 F but can be adjusted anywhere from 80 to 130. The removable fabric cover opens on one side, but only opens halfway. You will need to fold the pillow in half to remove and reinstall the cover. It doesn't matter, but it would be more convenient if the buttons moved all the way down one side. The whole setup seems solid enough and well built so I'm not afraid of my house burning down accidentally. But just in case, I only wear it at home.
