No setting to change bass/treble and factory settings too heavy for the base for my taste. This is especially true when listening to AM talk radio. In an unusual feature, if the radio is on and you turn the volume down to 'zero', you get no sound. If the volume is turned all the way to the left, the radio will still beep.
