Pros: Easy to pair, super ergonomic and compatible with other 3rd party controllers. Once paired, there was no lag or issues with the joysticks moving on their own like I had with the original Switch Joy cons. Every button was precise so no problem. The charging time didn't take too long and so far exceeded 10 hours without recharging. Cons: Not exactly a con, but the documentation doesn't mention waking the controller with the home button. Not a big deal, but yes, the home button doubles as a "wake" button and a "pair" button. I have another 3rd partial controller and it has a dedicated pairing button, but it's easier not to do it with this one. I'm not sure if this affects battery life. Overall: not disappointed at all. Comfortable and safe so far. No problems and definitely recommended.
