I bought these bulbs to replace 6 inch LED bulbs that burned out in less than 3 months. The connectors made installation pretty easy. It is necessary to twist the wires together, after the wiring is inserted, they snap quite tightly, which simplifies installation. I ordered 18 watt 5k bulbs and my wife is very happy with the brightness of the lights in the kitchen. I had to buy these lamps while renovating my kitchen. I was able to save a few bucks in the short term, but I paid for it in the long run. Feel free to make this a part of your upgrade plans. They are very thin and the springs hold the drywall well and don't fall apart like my previous lights. You can also use a dimmer, see the description for a list of recommended ones.
