This is great. It allows me to get the Blue Snowball off that awful little stand, off the table and closer to my face when I want it and slide it away when I don't want it Also very easy to attach A standard pop filter takes up a lot of space on my desk , this I can push a good compact device away from me Blue wobbles just seems like a Frankenstein's arm only I'm more versatile for that. It's also a lot easier. With the compass, I tried to mount it on some less stable pieces of furniture (my desk doesn't fit the clamps) and it completely fell over from the weight (taking the furniture with it!). This one is a lot lighter but still strong and I've been able to attach it to a lot more things and it didn't fall off. And it's damn cheap! It's missing a good shock absorber, but even without it wasn't a problem for me. Although there is one in the kit, I don't even understand how it's supposed to work. I'm pretty sure that doesn't work with Snowball, but maybe with thinner ones?
