The controller works great with the original Nintendo Wii but is not Blue Tooth compatible like the original Nintendo Wii remote or as stated in the marketing materials for this offer. The Wii "uses Bluetooth technology" so the claim is technically correct, but this controller is not compatible with Bluetooth from your phone or laptop like the original Nintendo Wii controller. The speaker built in this controller is also very thin and much louder than the original remote. (Even at volume setting 1 it was too loud for my comfort). TLDR: - It's a good cheap Wii controller, but only if you use it for the Wii - it will win.
