This item offers a lot of flexibility and customization options, which is useful if you're unsure of what you need or how to measure the base point. This is a very clever way to get around this with a lot of different settings. But all these adjustments come at a price. To make mine stable, I had to use the actual rim of the piston and screw-in force to fully secure the ring. Everything is fine now and I'm happy, but it's worth knowing up front that you might need MacGyver stuff to make it stable as a price for the flexibility.
