Best for carrying a laptop or tablet

This appears to be a different model than the description. It's good in some ways, but not so in some ways PROS: It's a good canvas-like material that wipes clean, but it's not waterproof. This is a medium gray that is attractive and does not show light dirt. Contrary to what is shown on the website, it has a zipped front pocket large enough to hold a tablet or other personal items. The main compartment, also zipped, has a pocket large enough to hold a large laptop with Velcro closure. The rest of the main compartment is roomy enough. It can be used as an overnight bag. The shoulder straps are comfortable - soft and adjustable, although there is no strap across the chest. CONS: Contrary to the description, this model does not have a USB port. Inside there are no small pockets for charger, phone, pens etc. The small pockets on either side of the outside are too small for a water bottle, making them pretty useless in a backpack. The inside of the backpack is made of easy-wipe polyester and is black so no dirt shows on it. But it has a strong, unpleasant smell. I'll try airing it out for a few days to see if it works. Conclusion: This is an attractive backpack for carrying a tablet or laptop, but its usefulness as an everyday backpack is limited.
