The axes are very stable and as advertised the device works well with the FiLMIC Pro. I had to pull the arm all the way out and add three balance knobs to balance it with my XS Max. My only complaint is that if I want to keep the ability to put the gimbal on standby by mounting the arm, it doesn't work with any of my moment lenses attached. Even with all four balance knobs, the motors can't handle the imbalance. I can get it working with all four balance knobs mounted on the outside of the arm, but even then it's still a bit unbalanced and the motors have to overcome the imbalance. See pictures.
