Handel broke in first use

I got this duffel bag for my daughter that is going to camp. She goes for 6 weeks so she has to bring a lot. Today we packed the duffel bag and brought it down the stairs and the Side Handel broke! This would be a great duffel bag if the handles were strapped on better. But overall it is very spacious and my daughter could pack all her stuff in one bag.
