My soccer days are over but I bought these as a compression sock for swollen feet and ankles. I keep trying new ones to replace the $50 recommended by my doctor. I won't try the others, these are great. Quality fit and finish and they contain my swelling even better than the medical socks I've used. Great socks exactly as described and perfect for plus sizes (I wear 11 1/2 shoes). They are soft, very comfortable and the elastic strap keeps them in place. If they doubled in price tomorrow I would still buy them they are so good to me.
