We used it for the first time this weekend and it rained a little. They stayed safe, but they had water in them. Also, the "Move" and "Lock" arrows pointed backwards. When held bottom down and tip up, the latch sticker indicated that it had to be "pulled" to the right to lock the item - which wasn't right for our bars. We had to pull and turn left for them to lock into place. They are well adjustable in height, although I wish there were some markings on them where to clip for 6ft, 7ft, etc. I'll make my own markings so we know when to apply them. And you don't have to measure everyone. Bought two sets and completely satisfied.
