I installed the dock with my 2020 MacBook Pro yesterday. Today I connected an ethernet port to my gigabit switch with a CAT6 cable. When I ran speed tests with Wi-Fi off, I got a consistent 200Mbps. My Wi-Fi is over 400Mbps, so I know it's not my network. I understand there are limits to how much we can transfer over a USB-C Thunderbolt connection, but the device needs to support dual HD monitors and Gigabit Ethernet without dropping to 200Mbps. Rating updated from 2 to 1 star. My USB speakers don't sound good. Upon researching, I found that I could get slightly better performance by using the USB port closest to the HDMI adapters. All ports marked "USB 3.0" appear as USB 2.0 hubs. They just don't register as consecutive. I will return this dock. I could bypass Ethernet, but I'd like to be able to listen to music or plug in a high-speed stick without throttling.
