for most soldering/desoldering tasks. The tools are of very good quality, but the plastic handles are cheap and uncomfortable. I found a very simple fix for this so I didn't deduct a star because the actual quality and cost of the tool was very good. I easily fixed this problem by attaching a 3/8" piece of heat shrink tubing to each handle, with each piece being 1/4-3/8" longer than the plastic handle. Then I used a heat gun to heat them up to press firmly and gently against the grip. This greatly increases the comfort and grip of the handlebar. In this case, do not choose the glossy vinyl or PVC type, choose the flat black rubber type for better grip. I hope my review helps someone make a purchase decision.
