I have some cheaper scrapers I bought last year and they work fine but the rake part tends to spin. When I used other cheaper slide rulers over my shirt they turned on the flat side which was very frustrating. Seeing reviews about it and that the head didn't turn but stayed in place, I had to try. As soon as they arrived I took them out and tried them out and in fact some of the rakes didn't spin which is great for me. I'm sitting at my desk at work and my back is itching badly from the hard water here. I was in dire need of a back scratcher that I could rely on as my back was very dry and itchy at the time. I love them because they stay stretched and work way better than claws. The rake doesn't dig into my skin, but it still works great and leaves hard-to-reach scratches. I would recommend buying these and will probably buy more as my kids love them too.
