Does NOT hold monitor upright - falls to lowest position.
The product is designed to support a monitor weighing up to 17.6 pounds. My monitor weighs 14.5 pounds. The gas spring in the mount is not strong enough to keep the monitor upright. It goes to the lowest position. So now I have 3 holes in the wall and I can't adjust the height of the monitor, so I wall mount the monitor. Very disappointed. The manufacturer clearly did not test the product for the specified weight limit. I'd be surprised if it could handle a 10lb monitor. Buyer Warning.
