Review on Samsung Controller SM R325 International Version by Richard Summerall

Be sure to read [Oculus is owned by Facebook Technologies]

To be honest this is a great product. To be honest I would have returned it too had the seller not been very cooperative with a separate issue I had when it first arrived. Cons: 1. You have to buy content and apps through Facebook technologies and since they have been proven to collect/steal personal information whenever possible, this doesn't sit well with me.2. To easily use the included [Bluetooth] remote control, you need to allow Oculus/Facebook to access your GPS location. This has never been a requirement for any Bluetooth device I've owned because GPS and Bluetooth are unrelated (it's just another takeover of Facebook's company information). 3. Every time I turn on my phone, Oculus/Facebook asks me to give them permission to access my two Google accounts. I get two separate notifications each time. Another attempt to gather information.4. [Update] Now you can only use the device if you log into Facebook and provide your phone number (you can't use a fake number because they send a verification message). It's about stealing information and tracking people. Pros: Some of the environments are amazing, especially the cinema (which looks so good that I guarantee VR cinemas, where you can watch 2D movies on big screens, will eventually go out of business.). VR movies are also very good in terms of usability, but can feel a bit pixelated at times. Information or make me give it up by limiting the gear's usability, this would be an ideal piece of early VR gear. For now, I will only use it for videos that are available on free sites and around the web. (You cannot access Revain videos through the Oculus app). [Update]: Since I can no longer use this without collecting my info and tracking my location, I threw everything away.
