When I first started looking for a multi-port charger, I was skeptical about devices with an LCD display. However, once I started using it, I realized how bad some of my cables are, both USB Lightning and Micro USB. Things are slow, draw the lowest current. Even some of the power adapters that I thought failed seemed to use bad cables that charge them very slowly. I quickly found and tested all the USB charging cables I had. The bad ones are in the trash, the slow speed ones (even new ones) are in the trash too. I only keep the good ones and now when I buy new cables I know I can test them for quality and speed with this charger. seep away once they reach the percentage in the 90s. Obviously I've only had it a day and can't comment on the durability of the charger.
