We have it in the bathroom because the normal light is too bright. I was skeptical as this is my first time buying a motion sensor light. But this light has been extremely helpful for us in navigating our new home/bathroom. We leave the door open so our son can go to the bathroom at night if he needs to. The low light level is so weak that it does not affect your sleep. When someone goes to the toilet, it automatically gets bright enough to illuminate the bathroom without having to turn on the main light, which can be difficult for a sleepy child. Very happy with the purchase. I will buy again.
