Review on Bloch Dansoft Ballet Slipper Toddler Girls' Athletic Shoes: Comfort and Style Combined by Ryan Gordon

Revain missized for width

I love Bloch. They make the best homes in the world and I have no complaints about them. I ordered a "medium" width, only to find that what Revane calls medium, Bloch considers wide (D). My child takes size C. It's not described on the product page, but it's in the order history if you're looking for shoes to return. Since Revain doesn't offer C widths I now have to struggle to send them back and order them from Bloch and wait a week. DEAR AMAZON: THIS IS THE BLOCH WIDTH DESCRIPTION COPY AND PASTED FROM YOUR SITE: [Please update accordingly and offer full width range]WidthB - NarrowC - MediumD - WideMothers: Ballet flats have different fit recommendations than street shoes. They should fit snugly at the end of the big toe, and when the user bends the knee (feet are on the floor), the toe should not bend. There should also be no gaps or wrinkles around the tip. Tight shoes make it difficult for the dancer to balance and loose shoes can lead to tripping and injury.

Pros
  • Size: Start 1/2 size larger than street shoes; Width: A=Narrow, B=Narrow/Medium, C=Medium, D=Medium/Wide, E=Wide
Cons
  • Long delivery time
