I like to hate romance with them. I ordered a set to pack the porch railing. I installed them in the evenings after the sun went down and they turned on at night. You looked great. I ordered another set to do the other side. The second set came and one had a broken copper wire. Return, return ordered again. This set worked great for about 3 weeks then one night we decided to switch to flash mode and we couldn't get it back to solid. Luckily, Revain's main window was still open. Went back and ordered a set from a different company. The exact same product arrived, they are installed and still working perfectly. What's good: You look great. They aren't too bright, which is what we wanted as we live by a lake and bright light attracts a lot of insects. But they definitely give off enough light to see where you're going in total darkness. Those who work have endured several heavy rains with no problems. I attached the solar panels to the supplied stakes and used zip ties to secure them to the outside of the railing. That works great. Copper wire is stronger than it looks. I like that they are thin, almost invisible on the tree during the day. Much better than traditional garlands or rope lanterns that are on display all day. They burn for a good 7 hours. Cons: As two of my orders went wrong I have to assume there is an issue with quality control and/or the integrity of the parts used. If the wire becomes tangled during installation, you may need post-untangle therapy. It's getting so ugly. Think complicated Christmas lights on supersteroids and methamphetamine at the same time. I have sets of these lights that can be plugged in for indoor use and they come in a cardboard tube. MUCH easier to manage. Considering how beautiful they look and stay on me as long as I like them. It will be interesting to see how long they survive in the environment and I'll update the review if there are any issues. If they appear, just check if they work before installing by holding your hand over the control panel. And good luck if they get bound to you during installation.
