I bought this headset for my husband after a long search for a good quality headset. He's a no frills guy and doesn't play much online games except with friends or family. He also wanted something that wouldn't crush his head, or a headset that would break easily. He heard from several friends and family that Turtle Beach was a great gaming headset company, so this was one of our first searches. Though we found plenty of other companies that had what he wanted, he wanted to hang on just in case Turtle Beach had a "simple" headset. We found this while looking for other companies and thought for the price we'd give it a try. If it wasn't worth it, it wouldn't be a big blow to our wallets. Luckily it was great and he had it for about 2 months. A lot of people have talked about the microphone part being delicate or easily broken, but our solution was to always turn it off when not in use.
