Good for short trips
Great for short outings for my cockatiel.
My bird is 19 years old and I he's bored, so I'm taking him out with me sometimes.This works perfectly for quick trips. Because cockatiels have such long tails, he can't move around as well as other birds, so it's hard to put food or water in for him because he can't move enough to get into a good position.I must always keep an eye on how much sun is hitting the carrier since it's so much plastic and only screen on one end, so it gets hot FAST and would be dangerous outside or direct sunlight in hot climates (I am in Florida)I am happy with my purchase, it fits the need I had but would not be ideal for any longer than short trips
