I really like these headphones because they sound way more expensive than they really are. I bought these to replace a pair of Audio-Technica IEM headphones as the left channel is totally dead - considering these headphones were about 4 years old. A big part of the reasons I bought the KZ ZS10s is that I usually kill my headphones very quickly and the spare cable was a big selling point. So if one of the channels fails again, I might as well get a new cable, assuming the earbud itself was out of order. That's not what it is about. However, the tips that came with them didn't fit my ears at all, so I bought third-party tips from Revain. When I put the attachment on the left earpiece, it must have hit the attachment's metal grill and ejected it. I'm not sure if I just have a bad pair of earbuds, but the grill shouldn't be knocked out of a fragile piece of silicone that easily. This is a bit of a concern as the grille is designed to keep dirt/wax out of the case. Also, if I left it alone, who knows if the grille would move all the way and enter my ear canal. Luckily I was able to pull the grid out of the attachment with tweezers and put it back in. Nothing really keeps it going, however, other than the relatively snug fit of the nozzle itself. I hope it doesn't budge again. It's really a shame, because otherwise it would have really been 5 stars for me. Music reproduction is great at all frequencies and suits almost every genre I use. I've heard everything from Hans Zimmer soundtracks to Adele, Soundgarden and Immolation and not a single bear has escaped these IEMs. There are very few things that don't sound great on them. But the grill offset is an issue, and I wonder what other build issues might arise in the future. To be honest, I would still buy them again. I doubt they'll come loose again unless I stumble across them or something and would still recommend them to anyone who wants a well thought out IEM without spending a ton of money.
