Review on 🧀 Capabunga Cheese Vault: Superior Food Storage Box for Fresh Cheese, One Size, White by Brad Wall

This is an AMAZING product! None of my cheeses have gone bad. The reason for my overall 4 star rating is simply that it is NOT big enough. I would buy ten of these if they were a more practical size for a family of 4. Busy households use a lot of semi-hard cheese for sandwiches. Kids don't want to go through the trouble of cutting a thin slice off a piece of cheese. For example, round slices of cheese (I buy provolone) don't fit in a box. The box isn't high enough to hold a stack of discs by the edge, and the box isn't wide enough to lay the stack of discs flat! I buy Asiago cheese in a big wedge at Sam's Club. Eat lots of quality cheese. No matter how I cut a large piece of cheese, it doesn't all fit in the storage. The cheese is too long and too wide for the box, even if you cut the wedge in half. You don't want to cut the wedge smaller or you won't have a good piece to put on a cracker or cheese board as an appetizer. I've given Cheese Vault an honest 3 star rating for value for money. That's $35, which is a lot of money for an item that only has the small chunks of Parmesan or Romano cheese you'll find in the packaged refrigerator section of any grocery store. If you buy a large chunk of this cheese from a deli, two chunks is enough to store it. In short, for $34 I would expect the storage to be at least twice the length and width. and at least 2 more: above. The product keeps cheeses that fit, which are few in number, beautifully, the cheese doesn't dry out or get wet so it doesn't go moldy. The manufacturer had a great idea for storing cheese, the idea was not implemented properly. If they made a more practical size cheese box, they would sell a lot more, which would also lower their price. I really hate that I can't give such a great idea a better rating. I would not recommend or give this as a gift unless I knew that the person who will be using it could use more than a small piece of cheese in a commercial package. It is not designed to cut cheese in commercial packaging, except cuts such as Kraft American Cheese. Manufacturer: Please use this rating to resize your cheese box. They had an amazing idea of preserving cheese in cans, it's just not the right size for the average American family.
