Didn't work for me and I'm terribly disappointed. I always have a lot of cheese at home. After all, I live in a dairy state. Didn't help protect it from mold and keep it fresh. I've used it for Parma, Cheddar, Foie Epi, Gouda and a few others and it doesn't matter if it's soft or hard. It doesn't matter whether it's cow's or goat's milk.

We received one as a gift and were definitely skeptical. But it worked and really helped clear out our cheese box and use up all the little bits. So we got the second one and use it for soft cheeses - yes, it works great so ignore the label directions. We store both blue cheese and plain soft cheese in the same warehouse without any problems.
