not sure if i have a defective block or anything else but it just doesn't work. i got that with 3 Tried semi-hard cheeses and all 3 started going moldy after 7-10 days In a ziplock bag or regular Tupperware container these cheeses will usually keep for over 30 days I suspect it's because the lid doesn't quite fit - given the vault Being made of flexible rather than rigid silicone, it is not *perfectly perfect* rectangular and leaves the tiniest gap between the lid and the body of the vault.I had high hopes for this product - even if it didn't last the life of my cheese beyond that elongating what I would get from a zippered bag, I would at least reduce the amount of single-use plastic I use to store my cheese, but the fact that Unfortunately, the fact that they mold less than twice as fast as in a bag makes this storage useless. I hate writing negative reviews, but when something doesn't quite work the way it should, I feel compelled to share it. Save your money and just buy more Tupperware.
