I bought this for my wife. She used to complain of neck and wrist pain when she was typing on the computer for a long time, and I thought this type of laptop stand might ease her pain a bit. When I received it I was very surprised at how durable and well made it was. Very cool silver color. All connectors and moving connections are very well made and I can say that they will last a long time. (it's the same color as my wife's MacBook) it's strong and a good weight. In fact, I was glad I didn't get a plastic laptop stand because it might have been too light for their 13-inch Apple computer. I took a lot of product photos. Bottom, top and link connections that appear very well made and durable. I also put my 15 inch laptop on it and it held it up very well as you can see from my photos. I find this helps cool the computer for better airflow and when I'm typing the stand can be lowered. And since my wife uses her wireless keyboard and mouse, the screen can be at eye level so she doesn't strain her neck. I think this laptop stand is good for your posture and also for laptop heat dissipation. , it will be great just to watch a movie on your computer as it can be on par.
