This monitor is one of the best models money can buy! S-IPS monitors are becoming increasingly rare these days and are increasingly being replaced by TN panels that are cheaper to produce. Monitors with S-IPS panels are known for excellent viewing angles and color reproduction. They are best suited for photo/video editing. Earlier models (rev. 02) of 2007wfp monitors had some banding issues. These issues appear to have been mostly fixed in the rev. 03. This monitor used 2 different panels. C-PVA and C-IPS. S-PVA panels are also very good but have slightly different characteristics. To find out what panel your 2007wfp has, you can go to the monitor settings menu: 1- Turn off the screen. 2- Press "Menu” and "+” at the same time. ' on the screen. 3- While holding 2 buttons, press the "Power" button. 4- When the screen turns on, release the 3 buttons. 5- Just press the "-” button. You can do a search for the panel code listed in the menu and find out what you have! Much luck!
