Exactly what I was looking for. MacBook Pro 14″ M1. USB-C adapter Assembled, plugged in, plugged the included USB-C (about 40 inches long) into my MacBook and it just worked. I will be using the 4th Gen Echo Dot for my desktop Bluetooth speaker, so I have not tested the speakers. My desk is in front of a very bright window and the brightness is more than adequate. Everything is very clear and easy to read. I tested the Apple Studio Display which is fantastic but isn't worth $1500. I seriously considered the LG 32UN880-B but decided it was the best option.
