Tibetan water offering bowls
I purchased these water offering bowls for the Tibetan Buddhist shrine. Losar is February 19. I like them because they are small, take up less space, and require less water which is good in this drought although I do save the water at the end of the day (and use it on plants). If you purchase them you must prepare them, and be familiar with their proper use and care. They are not for decoration. These are not solid, they are plated.
- Traditionally placed on Buddhist shrine, altar filled with water every morning as a way of collecting merit and virtue.
- Some users may find the requirement for traditional water offerings to be restrictive, as it limits the use of the bowls for other purposes or in other ways
