This lens hood is of good construction and quality but unfortunately it does not fit the lens cap that comes with the X100V. The lens hood itself works fine on the X100V and the lens hood also accepts the B+W XS-PRO Nano UV filter but just doesn't work with the OEM lens cap that comes with the X100V as the OEM lens cap is slightly larger is as he is . Hood so it doesn't hold up at all. So if you're looking for one that fits the lens cap of the X100V, look elsewhere! Update 3/5: Decided to try again. Although it doesn't work with the x100v OEM cover, you can purchase the FOTOMIX LC-FX100 secondary cover for x100f (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07663LJBQ/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_UqwyEbN1G6VXD) and it works great! You can see in my attached photos where the original hair cap is larger than this cap, but the FOTOMIX LC-FX100 fits great!
