I had an obsolete flash drive that I used as a backup after a hard drive failure. When this flash drive started corrupting some files, I bought this one and transferred everything to it. This new one immediately showed several corrupted filenames and unreadable files. At first I thought that the original files on the old flash drive had been removed but soon my suspicions arose, I returned to the old hard drive and found that most of my original files were intact. Bought a replacement (different product), migrated from the original CD and everything is fine now. I bought this product partly because of its low price and partly because of its elegant looks. Neither is worth compromising my data.
