This sealing device is so simple and compact that it doesn't take up much space. I've sealed a few open-faced cheeses and individual family-size hamburgers to keep many servings fresh, and sealed them in a pouch that doesn't take up much freezer space like hamburgers in foam-bottomed packs. I love that it comes with an extra gasket and hose for an external vacuum. The receipt was impressive as I am someone who looks at the box or packaging of a product because if a company takes pride in the quality of the box or packaging they should be proud of the product they are selling. Nothing is more disappointing than getting what you ordered and it comes in some kind of cheap box or fragile packaging that ruins the product. It came in a nice, very thick box with a handle, and there are links on the box to scan the paperless manual if you prefer. The three-year warranty says something about this seal. Why should it be offered if they don't believe in their product? It has a sleek design and isn't very noisy, and the instructions are very detailed and easy to read in plain English. I am happy with my purchase and will make good use of it as we buy meat in bulk and pack it fresh and now using the new food seal will be such a pleasure as my old one has finally stopped working after many years.
